The Vulcan Bomber was one of the three V-Bombers designed and built as part of Britain's cold war deterrant. XH558 was successfully restored and earlier in 2008 became the only flying Vulcan. Two others survive in taxiable condition. The Vulcan Operating Company is seeking sponsors to support her program of flights.
For those who don't know the background of the Avro Vulcan, it is covered by the excellent site about British aircraft Thunder and Lightnings.
